Danielle Grover, 22, died unexpectedly in June, leaving behind a young daughter, Mya. Friends and family have planned a community benefit to help with Grover's funeral expenses and the purchase of a headstone. Any remaining money will be used to start an account for Mya, now 5 months old.
The benefit is an all-you-can-eat chili dinner 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the Tiffin Eagles, 68 Riverside Drive. D.B. Hawkins is to play country and southern rock music from 4-8 p.m. Raffles and a 50/50 drawing also are planned.
Admission is $6, or $10 per couple. Children eat free.
For each paid admission, the person is to receive an entry to win the grand prize, a piece of framed art.
