The report of a loud party Sunday night on South Sandusky Street resulted in several arrests.
Sgt. Laverne Keefe of the Tiffin Police Department said police responded to a 200-block South Sandusky Street residence for the report of a loud party at the location. After the residents would not let police in, a search warrant was obtained to enter the residence.
According to Tiffin Police reports, police first went to the residence around 11 p.m. and the search warrant, signed by Judge Jay Meyer, was executed around 1 a.m.
Keefe said the search warrant was obtained because police believed underage drinking was going on inside the residence.
According to police reports, those charged with underage possession/consumption included; Sarah A. Brown, 20, of New York, Samantha Jo Phillips, 19, of Michigan, Matthew D. Toth, 18, of Bay Village, Joseph T. Jovanovski, 20, of Tiffin, Andre C. Ladell, 20, of Tiffin, Stephen R. Saddler, 19, of Tiffin, Taylor J. Millar, 19, of Tiffin, and Kei A. Yamamoto, 18, of Tiffin.
A minor also was involved, according to the report., and Aric J. Skalican, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with furnishing a location for underage consumption.
Keefe said those charged were given summonses to appear in court.
