Bond has been set at $25,000 for a Tiffin man charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Michael A. Ford, 42, appeared in Seneca County Judge Steve Shuff's courtroom Tuesday where bond was set with no 10 percent cash or surety allowed, according to court documents.
Ford was indicted on pandering obscenity involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony, and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly buying, procuring, possession or controlling obscene material that has a minor as one of its participants in January 2012, according to his indictment.
He also allegedly possessed or viewed material or a performance that shows a minor in a graphic state of nudity, the indictment states.
Ford, who is scheduled to appear again in court Thursday for an arraignment, could face up to two-and-a-half years in prison and a fine of up to $7,5000 if convicted.
