Others: Junior Jordan Orians. Sophomores Tyler Halcomb; Andrew Faber; Devin Reinhart. Freshman Lucas Williams.

Outlook: After going a combined 34-1 over the two years, New Riegel faces challenges.

The Blue Devils graduated four players from a talented, athletic class. The overall numbers this year are good, but the experience level lags behind.

Smith and Dryfuse are the only players with any extensive varsity experience, while Aaron Reinhart found his way into the varsity lineup twice and Travis Williams and Coleman each did so once.

"I'm not fighting numbers, I'm just fighting experience," Quinlan said.

"We're young. We graduated four seniors, all were solid athletes. They were all-MAL in other sports. We just lost a good senior class."

One saving grace is the fact most of the other MAL teams find themselves in similar circumstances, Quinlan said.

"It's just total rebuilding, but so is everybody else in the league," he said.

"Because we're rebuilding doesn't necessarily mean we're going to lose," he said. "I would like to think we could go .500."
