Rosalie A. Keefer, 75, of Attica, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born May 31, 1938, in Attica, to Lewis A. and Ruth L. (Wrinkle) Lutz. Mrs. Keefer was employed at Heimlich Dairy Maid, R.R. Donnelley, Attica, Cut Rate, and was a waitress at the Hi-Ho, Willard, and Hideaway Ceramics over the years. She was a member of Attica United Methodist Church, Attica Senior Citizens, and was active with the Community Giving Closet. Mrs. Keefer enjoyed being outside, bowling and making ceramics. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Daisy.
Mrs. Keefer is survived by her husband, Bernard Keefer, whom she married June 19, 1965; two sons, Gerald (Lynn) Cupp of Orange Park, Fla., and David (Trish) Keefer of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Marjory (Daniel) Gibson of Tiffin and Teresa (Clint) Smith of Attica; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Lutz of Columbus and Charles Lutz of Florida; and one sister, Susanne Overmier of Alvada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Sean Wayne Keefer; sister, Martha Evens; and brother, David Lutz.
A celebration of life service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Attica United Methodist Church with the Pastor Michael Padula officiating.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
