A Kansas man was charged early Saturday morning with domestic violence and discharging a firearm while intoxicated.
According to a spokesperson for the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, Ronald Stevenson, 43, of Kansas, was charged following an altercation with his son. According to the spokesperson, Stevenson's son was involved in a car accident with Stevenson's vehicle, and a domestic incident followed.
The spokesperson said a firearm was discharged at the scene, but was not aimed at people, and Stevenson's son sustained injuries from the altercation for which he was treated at Mercy Tiffin Hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening, he said, and alcohol was believed to be a factor in the incident.
