Giles Parks, 70, of Bellevue, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Bellevue Care Center.
He was born Sept. 1, 1941, in Sullivan County, Tenn., to David and Okie (Nelson) Parks.
Survivors include his daughter, Diana Rose of Bellevue; two grandsons; a great-grandson; three brothers, Bobby Parks and Charles Parks, both of Bellevue, and Johnny Parks of Green Springs; and three sisters, Luella Maines of Bellevue, Ruth Ann Rollins of Fremont and Kate Kurtz of Melmore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Meyer, and three brothers, Russell Parks, Robert Parks and Freddie Parks.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date by Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, who is in charge of arrangements.
