Virginia D. Zeigler, 89, of McCutchenville, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Wyandot County Home, Upper Sandusky.
Virginia was born July 1, 1923, in Lima, to Dean and Grace (Dawson) Nye. She married Arthur Zeigler and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Daniel (Carla) Zeigler of Florida; daughter, Judy Von Blon of McCutchenville; a stepdaughter-in-law, Teresa Zeigler of McCutchenville; a brother, John Nye of Findlay; half brother, Dean (Linda) Nye of Tiffin; a sister, Mary (Dwight) Grundish of Sycamore; a half sister, Carolyn (Bill) Davis of Fostoria; a granddaughter-in-law, Kelly Hoffbauer of McCutchenville; and two great-grandchildren, Travis and Dylan Hoffbauer.
Virginia also was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Rick Hoffbauer.
Virginia was a homemaker and a former member of the Sycamore Lions Club. Virginia was a 1942 graduate of McCutchenville High School.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
