Thomas Hunter Valentine, who turned 17 Wednesday, June 5, 2013, was fatally injured in a car accident Friday, June 7, 2013.
A memorial service for Thomas Hunter Valentine will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Ada Full Gospel with Pastor Karen Rarey officiating. Family will be present at 10 a.m. to receive friends.
Hunter was born June 5, 1996, in Marion, to Berlin and Brandee (Britenstine) Valentine who survive in Russells Point.
Also surviving is his sister, Amber Williams of Columbus; two brothers, Richard Valentine of Tiffin and Mason (Traci Deann Carter) of Huber Heights; grandparents, Richard and Janice Valentine of Tiffin and Sandra Ohler of Columbus; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Audrianna Jordan of Russells Point; and best friends, Hunter Wolfe of Russells Point and Elias Johncox of Richwood.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Joan Britenstine of Richwood.
Hunter was a special teenager who was involved in everything he could be to improve the lives of others. His goal in life was to become a youth pastor. Hunter's favorite time of year was church camp, and he attended both junior and senior camps so he could help out wherever he could.
Hunter attended Indian Lake High School and was a member of the track and football teams. He also was a very active member of S.A.D.D (Students Against Destructive Decisions).
He was very proud to be an organ donor and because of his decision to donate, many families will blessed with the miracle of life.
