Betty Marie Roth, 86, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born May 14, 1927, in Reed, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Walliser) Schreiner. She married Marion C. Roth Nov. 23, 1950, at Reed Assumption Church, and he preceded her in death in 2004.
She was a 1945 graduate of Attica High School and worked for 17 years at General Electric, Bellevue Lamp Plant. She was member of Immaculate Conception Church, its Altar Society and St. Jude's Study Club.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, baking chocolate chip cookies, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her green thumb and tending to her plants.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Jean) Roth and Bruce (Sue) Roth, both of Bellevue; four daughters, Barb (Jerry) Ritchey of Clyde, Pat (Denny) Dumminger of Fremont, Sandy (Dave) Ebert of Sandusky and Linda (Alan Jr.) Prosser of Bellevue; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Foos of Attica.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Prosser; and her sister, Martha J. Ruffing.
Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where the rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m.
Her funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
