George L. Myers, 57, of Dickey Avenue, Warren, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 19, 2013, at his home.
He was born at home Aug. 21, 1955, in Tiffin, the son of the late Israel and Ethel (St. Clair) Myers. George had worked as a laborer at several area businesses. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, working on various projects around his home and spending time with his dog.
He will be sadly missed by his six children, Tabatha (Robert) Carnahan and George (Mai) Myers, both of Niles, Travis (Meredith) Myers of Liberty, Nicole (Gene) Myers of Girard and Cassie Myers and Cameron (Katie) Myers, both of Warren; two brothers, Raymond Myers of Carey and Donnie Webb of Tiffin; six sisters, Betty Messersmith, Mary Beam, Martha Stansbery and Linda Wagner, all of Tiffin, Cora Orr of McCuthenville and Clara Ray of Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his friend, Jack Boyers.

Funeral services celebrating George's life will be at 10 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home with Celebrant Randi Pappa officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery.
