The challenge for the 2013 Leadership Seneca County class was to get involved, inspire others to do their part and to focus on the good.
Tiffin City Mayor Aaron Montz was the featured speaker for the annual graduation ceremony Tuesday evening at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center.
Montz is the youngest elected mayor in Tiffin's history. He said his interest in public service began in first grade when he campaigned for President George Bush.

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz speaks Tuesday evening at the 2013 Leadership Seneca County graduation at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center.
"Tiffin is headed in the right direction," Montz said. He said he is leading the city by always doing the right thing.
"People are never going to be 100 percent happy. You just have to do what you believe to be right and not pay attention to public opinion," Montz said.
Montz is a graduate of Columbian High School and Heidelberg University. Before becoming mayor, he was on Tiffin City Council and coached baseball.
"I challenge you, as leaders, to encourage people in the community to go out and get involved," Montz said.
Montz also told the class to go out and become leaders and cheerleaders for the wonderful and good things that are happening in Tiffin and to dispel the negative mentality.
"Many great things are happening and will continue. I am here to be a good leader and do what is right and to make sure Tiffin is headed in the right direction," he said.
The ceremony included the presentation of personal mission statements, certificates and plaques.
