Paul A. Bell, 83, of Marion, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Plankton, to Frank and Lucille (Gregg) Bell. In 1950, he entered the U.S. Navy, serving in the Mediterranean Sea area. He married Betty (Buxton) Aug. 29, 1951, in Waldo.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons, Jeffrey (Sue) Bell of Bucyrus, Craig Bell of Marion and Bradley (Susan) Bell of Marion; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters, Charles Bell of Marysville, Mary Etta Hemerly of Bowling Green, Robert (Luis) Bell of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Lewis (Sylvia) Bell and John (Kay) Bell, both of Sycamore, Enza Fadley of Republic, Lester (Beulah) Bell of Sycamore, Lyn (Irene) Bell of Van Wert, Lyle (Shelia) Bell of Littleton, Colo., Sue (Duane) Durbin of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Michael (Sue) Bell of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Robin.
Visitation was 2-7 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W. Center St., Marion.
His funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church, 130 Orton St., Marion with the Rev. Dustin Hornbeck officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to James Cancer Hospital or Heartland Hospice.
