Vince Anway launched a two-out, three-run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh, but Norwalk finally broke free in the 11th Thursday for an 8-4 Northern Ohio League win.
The Truckers scored single runs in the top of the first, sixth and seventh innings, and had TC down to its final out before Lonsway sent the game into extra innings.
Neither team scored again until the 11th.
Norwalk (23-4, 10-0 NOL) pounded out five runs in the top of the 11th and held the Tornadoes (8-13, 2-7) to just a single run.
Reliever Jerrod Windsor suffered the loss.
Nate Hoyda added two singles and a run for TC, Garrett Bean and Bubba Miller singled and scored, and Jeffrey Crawford drove in a run and singled.
Blue Devils click early
CAREY - Austin Patton led off the game with a triple and Carey kept the momentum going from there Thursday, taking a 7-0 lead in what became a 10-3 Midland Athletic League win over Mohawk.
Patton ended 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs, adding a double in the fifth just before Matt Holsinger's two-run homer.
Holsinger added another run for the Blue Devils (5-14, 2-3 MAL), Brady Mullholand and winning pitcher Alex Naeyaert each singled twice and Bryce Mullholand drove in two runs and singled.
John Riedel suffered the loss for the Warriors.
Devon Fredritz scored twice and singled for Mohawk.
Caudill a force against Trojans
ATTICA - If a two-run home run in the fifth wasn't enough for Ethan Caudill, maybe picking up the win with just a single hit allowed and nine strikeouts was. Caudill was a perfect two for two at the plate to help Seneca East shut out South Central, 11-0 in five innings.
Jordan Bowerman, Dalton Wise and Daniel Bartley all backed Caudill with doubles while Wise drove in two runs.
Seneca East tallied 11 hits as a team.
Caudill improves to 6-0 on the mound.
Cecil-led Rockets roll
OAK HARBOR - A.J. Cecil allowed just one hit in the five-inning game and scored three times Thursday to spark Oak Harbor's 12-2 win over Calvert.
Cecil went 3 for 4 with a triple for the Rockets, who led 6-0 in the first inning.
Dillon Pollard added two runs and a double, Michael Osbourne doubled, Logan Winke scored twice and singled twice, Nate Segaard drove in two runs with two singles, Ben Genzman had two RBIs and a single and Mark Konieczny scored twice, knocked in a pair and singled.
Mike Bennett (0-5) took the loss for the Senecas. Brad Iannantuono singled.
Rossford outlasts FHS
ROSSFORD - Rossford broke a 6-all tie with three runs in the sixth Thursday en route to beating Northern Buckeye Conference foe Fostoria 9-7.
The Bulldogs had just five hits, but also drew 11 walks.
Kaleb Bemis took the loss for Fostoria.
Casey Kitchen lined two doubles and a single for the Redmen, Chris Hampton and Hunter Abell both doubled twice and Anthony Dean and Alex Jackson each singled twice.
