Jacob Zeller, 28, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

He was born Feb. 23, 1985, in Sandusky, the son of Rick Zeller and Sam (Budd) Reau. Jake was a 2003 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. He then graduated from Tiffin University in 2007, earning a B.A. in accounting.

He was a member of Sleepy Hollow Golf Course, where he was a two-time club champion in 2008 and 2010. He recorded a hole-in-one in 2008.

He was an avid Buckeye fan who loved being around his family, especially, being "Uncle Jakey" to his niece and two nephews. Jake will be known to many as a hard working and fun loving guy. He was preceded in death by his three uncles, Roger Zeller, Timothy Budd and Anthony Budd; and a cousin, Timothy Budd.

Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where a wake service will be at 1:30 p.m. At the family's request, Ohio State apparel is encouraged to be worn to the visitation.

His funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
