KENOSHA, Wisc. - Tiffin University started Day Two of the Division II Super Regional in seventh, but slipped into a tie for 10th after shooting 301, nine strokes worse than Monday.
All five of the Dragons' golfers are separated by nine strokes. Tyler Maranville and John Tidenberg each shot a 73 Tuesday, and Maranville goes into today's play as the Dragons' top overall scorer at 147. He's tied for 24th, a stroke ahead of teammate Jon Klein, who is tied for 31st.
Klein shot a 71 on Monday, tying him for 15th, but a 77 Tuesday dropped him in the standings.
The Dragons stand at 593 overall. At present, they are 11 strokes off the fifth-place team, Southwestern Oklahoma St. (582).
The top five teams advance to the finals in two weeks.
Missouri-St. Louis is leading the team standings with 573. Central Missouri's Robby Hughey leads all individuals at a 10-under 134.
