Jean Dwayne Adams, 74, of Fremont and formerly Tiffin, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at the home of his daughter.
He was born July 17, 1938, in Franklin, to Ora and Augusta (Abner) Adams. Jean served in the Marines during peacetime and was a general laborer at Tiffin Metal. He loved to watch T-ball, baseball and football and taking bike rides and walks.
Surviving is his daughter, Heather DeVaughn (John) Shorts; two siblings, Carolyn (Troy) Franks of Hartselle, Ala., and Marlin Adams of Jackson, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Nick Dahms and Chloe Shorts.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Effie Adams, Elsie Mister, Ora Jr., Bill, Ray, Joe and Johnny.
Memorial contributions in Jean's memory may be made to his grandchildren.
