One-act plays directed by Heidelberg University students are to be presented April 24-28 in Gundlach Theatre. Admission to the productions is free.
Senior Erin Crenshaw wrote the script for "Triage," which is being directed by senior Dakota Thorn. Performances are at 8 p.m. Wednesday and April 26 and and 2 p.m. April 27. Set in a nursing home, the play explores the relationships between the younger aides and residents. It features 12 Heidelberg students. A discussion is to follow the show April 27.
"OK Cupid," written by Dave Winnyk (a student at Ohio Wesleyan University), is being directed by senior Marisha Sullivan. With a cast of 11, it is to be staged at 8 p.m. Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. April 27 and 2 p.m. April 28. This minimalist play delves into the details of building and tearing down a relationship.
