GENOA - Hunter Perry won both jumps to cap off a day where both Stockaders teams finished third in a tri-meet against Genoa and Woodmore.
Perry sailed 18-4 1/2 in the long jump while leaping 6-0 in the high jump, winning on fewer missed attempts.
Adam Alexander claimed a first in the pole vault (11-6) while Brad Bannister ran to victory in the 1,600 (4:55.8).
On the girls side, Old Fort's Kayla Garza's runner-up finish in the 3,200 (13:25.4) and third place in the 1,600 (5:59.9) carried the Stockaders to 15 1/2 points. Morgan Kemenah finished third in the 200 (29.8) while Jackie Becker did the same in the 800 (2:42.7).
Dragons fall in Motown
DETROIT - Wayne State scored at least one run in each of the final four innings - seven runs overall - and knocked off Tiffin University, 10-6.
Tayler Glass had three hits for the Dragons, who dropped to 17-18, 11-9 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Nick Calandra had two RBIs, while Tiffin starter Joe Perretta took the loss by giving up five runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Wayne State improved to 23-11, 13-5.
Perfect Yellow Jackets stay that way
BEREA - Baldwin Wallace's men's tennis team came into Tuesday's match with Heidelberg unbeaten, and stayed that way, beating the Student Princes 8-1.
Heidelberg (4-10, 1-4 Ohio Athletic Conference) got its lone win from the doubles team of Cliff Goetz and Zach Schwenning, who topped the Yellow Jackets' Peter Harris and Doug Ganim, 8-6.
BW improved to 20-0, 5-0.
TU golf takes fourth at regional
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - Tiffin University's men's golf team came in fourth out of 31 teams at the Purgatory Regional, which finished up Monday.
TU was led by Tyler Maranville and Jon Klein, each of whom shot a 144 over the two days, tying for eighth. The Dragons were the highest finishing Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team.
St. Joe beats Old Fort
FREMONT - Old Fort scored a run in the top of the first inning, but St. Joe took over from there.
The Streaks scored five runs in the bottom half of the inning, then added a run in the second and 10 in the third, cruising to a 20-4 win.
Brennan Reardon had three hits and scored four times in Monday's game, adding two RBIs for the Streaks. Ashley Burns also scored three times.
For the Stockaders, Michaela Davidson had two hits, including a double with a run batted in.
Be Reardon got the win for St. Joe, striking out five. Alyssa Pence took the loss in the circle.
