LAKOTA - Monday evening, Lakota School Board approved contract renewals for the elementary and high school principals.
Joshua Matz is to continue another five years as elementary principal, starting in August, with a contract lasting until 2018. Sherry Sprow is to remain as high school principal
for five years starting in August.
Superintendent David Danhoff announced Lakota was ranked 250th in Ohio, which is an excellent rank in the state. He said Lakota is making promising moves to continue its outstanding work.
In other matters, the board:
Approved an agreement with Rollin in Green for lawn mowing services for 2013.
Approved a multi-agreement contract between Lakota Local Board of Education and North Point Educational Service Center for the 2013-2014 school year.
Accepted books donated to the Lakota Local School Library in memory of Bonnie McCullough.
Appointed Ryan Nusbaum as head track coach for the junior high.
Appointed Donald Window as head girls track coach for the high school.
Appointed Lawrence Topor as assistant boys track coach for the high school.
