Sharon Miller Nye Ebersole, 61, of Republic, died at 6:55 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her residence after an extended illness.
Sharon was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Tiffin, to Harold A. and Helen L. (Kirian) Miller. She married Evan E. "Butch" Ebersole on Sept. 17, 1994, in Flat Rock and he survives.
Sharon is survived by her mother; two sons, Ken (Julie) Nye of Carey and Mick (Meghan) Nye of Wadsworth; five grandchildren, Talen, Emma, Brady, Lilah and Davis; three brothers, Robert Bruce (Nancy) Miller of Tiffin, Rodney (Anna) Miller of Albuquerque, N.M., and Dale (Akemi) Miller of Irving, Calif.; three sisters, Wanda (Melvin) Steinmetz of New Riegel, Sandra Shafer of Prince George, Va., and Linda (Rob) Molyett of Attica; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father.
Sharon retired from the Tiffin Development Center in 2006. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica, the NMLRA, multiple other muzzleloader associations, Public Employee Retirees and the Republic Historical Society.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica with Fr. Paul A. Fahrbach officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home in Bloomville. There will also be a wake service held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday at the Bishop-Seybert cemetery in Flat Rock.
