Jane Ann King, 58, of Attica, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born March 9, 1955, in Attica, the daughter of Orrin and Geraldine (Keller) Thornton. She married John J. King Jan. 15, 1988, in Attica. Jane was a 30-year employee of Mercy Tiffin Hospital and taught medical coding at Terra Community College. Mrs. King was a dedicated wife and mother and a friend to many. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved to visit her daughter in North Carolina and Florida.
Surviving are her husband of 25 years, John J. King of Attica; daughter and best friend, Shannon (Daniel) Omlor of Pensacola, Fla.; two stepchildren, Brian King of Seattle, Wash., and Beth Ann King of Westerville; her mother, Geraldine Thornton; sister, Jackie (Arnold) Stephens; and brother, John Thornton, all of Attica.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will take place 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, OH 44807, (419) 426-4094.
Her Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 320 Stump Pike Road, Attica, with Fr. Paul Fahrbach officiating. Burial will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Attica.
