LaMar M. Durst Sr., 72, of rural Clyde, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Elmwood at the Springs, Green Springs.
He was born May 22, 1940, in Green Springs.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Paula Fausey, Green Valley, Ariz.; two grandchildren; two stepchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
LaMar was preceded in death by his son, LaMar M. Durst Jr. in 2006 and his mother, Ella Mae Fausey.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March, 14, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Gowen officiating. Burial will be in Bakertown Cemetery, Clyde, with military rites provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
