Vaughn and Mary Moore are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today with a reception from 2-4 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, Fostoria.
The couple was married March 10, 1973, at Free Methodist Church, Holland, Ohio, by the Rev. Burton Gittinger.
Mary is the daughter of the late Robert and Eunice Brendle.

Vaugh is the son of the late John C. and Mayflower Moore.
They are parents of three children, Holly (Ryan) Brown of Tiffin, Jonathan "Andy" (Earlene) Moore of Kansas, Ohio, and Garett (Shi) Moore of Fostoria. Five granchildren complete their family.
