More on evolution

March 6, 2013
dsp The Advertiser-Tribune

This letter is in response to the Rev. Pam Easterday. By accepting evolution over creation, you are watering down God's word. Science has never disproven God's word or the new earth (6,000 years), science only has reinforced. Using parts of the Bible to either fit your lifestyle, political agenda or religious views, or falling to pressure to the secular ideas, is saying God is not our creator. Evolution does not support the fall of man (sin); therefore, our need for a savior, Jesus Christ, would then not be necessary. When you take away or add to the authority of the Bible, then it becomes legalism, not Christianity.
