Police investigate Bellevue schools

March 6, 2013
The Advertiser-Tribune

A drug search at Bellevue City Schools Tuesday revealed drug paraphernalia in two vehicles in the high school parking lot.

According to a release issued by the school, the Huron County Sheriff's Office and police from Norwalk, Tiffin, Fostoria and Bellevue collaborated to bring a canine drug task force to search the high school and middle school.

No drugs were found in the schools or in the vehicles, according to the release.

The proper measures have been taken by law enforcement in regard to the drug paraphernalia, the release states.

According to Tiffin police reports, Tiffin police assisted in two other drug-related searches at Huron High School and Compass Academy.
