Katherine Karhoff and Anthony Gallina, both of Fostoria, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride, the daughter of Laura and Bernard Karhoff of Elida, graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School in 2007 and earned a bachelor's degree in marine biology from Bowling Green State University in 2011. She is a science teacher for grades 7-12 at St. Wendelin Catholic School, Fostoria.
The groom is pastoral associate for music and liturgy at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and director of choral music at St. Wendelin Catholic School. The son of Julia Schlicher of Fairfield and Frank Gallina of Hamilton, he graduated from Father Stephen T. Badin High School in 2006 and earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Bowling Green State University in 2010.
