Raymond L. Jacobs

Raymond L. Jacobs, 68, of Tiffin, died at 12:37 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at his residence.

Raymond was born April 13, 1944, in Tiffin, to Floyd and Theresa Grace (Miglets) Jacobs. He married Evelyn Williams Oct. 27, 1965, in Conway, S.C., and she preceded him in death Dec. 31, 2011.

Survivors include two children, Sheila (Matthew) Feasel and Don (Tonya) Jacobs, both of Tiffin; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and three sisters, Evelyn Swartz and Margie Johnson, both of Tiffin, and Ann Renninger of Arizona.

Raymond retired from Basic Refractories and was a member of Tiffin Moose Lodge. Raymond loved his dogs, "Katie" and "Mollie." He attended Columbian High School and was a United States Marine veteran, serving during Vietnam.

Raymond also was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Jacobs.

His funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., (419) 447-1221, with Pastor James Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.

There will be no visitation at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
