Honor Flight Northwest Ohio has learned that someone is calling World War II veterans in Northwest Ohio, saying they have been selected for a Northwest Ohio Honor Flight, and asking for their credit card information.
In a news release, Honor Flight Northwest Ohio is advising that legitimate flights are free of charge to veterans.
Futhermore, Honor Flight Northwest Ohio board members never ask for credit card information.
