Charles L. Krick

Charles L. Krick, 80, of Fostoria, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.

He was born May 17, 1932, in Lima, to John and Jenny (Butler) Krick. He married Janet Osmon Aug. 22, 1953, in Lima.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Krick of Fostoria; two sons, Kendall (Brenda Yost) Krick of Aurora, Colo., and Bryan (Tammy) Krick of Springfield; a daughter, Dr. Janalee (Jay) Rissover of Cincinnati; a sister, Phyllis Peters of Lima; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Krick; and sister, Catherine Hart.

He was a U.S Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a class electrician mate on the USS Antietam.

His funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria, with the Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, near Arcadia, where military honors will be conducted by the United Veterans of Fostoria.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, Northwest Ohio Parkinson's Foundation or Bridge Hospice.
