Edward T. Amory, 81, of Tiffin and formerly Green Springs, died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
Edward was born July 22, 1931, in Ashtabula, to the late Bruce C. and Alice B. (Bogart) Amory.
Survivors include his five children, Mark Dexter of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Sherrie Amory, Bruce Amory, Brandon Amory and Nova Amory, all of Tiffin; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Edward retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. He enjoyed spending time on his land, planting daffodils and taking care of his forest. Edward was a graduate of USC with a bachelor's degree in horticulture.
There will be no funeral at this time. Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
