A Fostoria man was sentenced to three years in prison last week after he pleaded guilty to robbery.
Timothy S. Stallings, 24, appeared in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley's courtroom where he withdrew his plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty to the second-degree felony.
Stallings was arrested in November after he tried to steal merchandise from Walmart and used a kitchen knife to cut open packaging.
Stallings was stopped at the entrance as he tried to leave, but then ran back into the store. A customer chased him through the store and a loss prevention officer was able to hold Stallings down until police arrived.
