For the past three weeks, students in grades 4-7 in the Joy Club at Bridges Community Academy have gathered canned food for the Souper Bowl of Caring, a nationwide event to help fight hunger and poverty.
The students collected 117 canned food items that are to be distributed to The Morrison House, United Way, St. Paul's Methodist Church Sharing Kitchen and The Salvation Army.
