Bettsville hung with Calvert for almost the entire first quarter, but a late scoring run put Calvert ahead 14-6.
"I thought we started out kinda flat, I thought we needed to get a little bit of flow to the game and get our guys moving," Calvert coach Ted Willman said.
Calvert did just that, moving the ball around and scoring many uncontested shots in the second quarter, where it scored 26 points and went up 40-15 at halftime. A never-slow-down attitude in the third and fourth quarters let the Senecas storm away with an 82-26 victory over Bettsville.
Every single player in Calvert's varsity lineup contributed, with four players registering double digits.
Austin Ball and Michael Bennett led Calvert (3-12, 2-4 Midland Athletic League) with 14 points while Donavon Stith poured in 13 points and Brian Gruss had 10.
Ten different Senecas contributed in the win.

Willman noted his team's ability to include everyone.
"Tonight we did a nice job of moving the ball. There was a lot of unselfishness from all the players. It's easy when you come in the game and you're up, you can say 'OK it's my turn to take my shots' and we had guys that weren't doing that. We had guys that were executing and were trying to run what we were trying to run on the offensive end to make sure we got the shots that we wanted to get," he said.
The execution allowed Calvert to finish 35 for 55 overall shooting, including 5 of 11 from the 3-point line.
"With all the guys we played tonight, it was about our guys executing. We kept saying that. Who we sub in should not effect our execution. Our skill level may change but our execution and what we do, no matter who subs in and out; our execution should never change," Willman said.
Bettsville (0-13, 0-6 MAL) was led by Tommy Kipps' eight points as the team shot 9 of 28 overall.
