Patricia J. LeJeune

Patricia J. LeJeune, 81, of Fremont, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 9, 2013, at her son's home with her family by her side.

She was born April 14, 1931, in Melmore, the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Smoot) Jumper. She was a 1950 graduate of Columbian High School. After graduation, she married Edward J. LeJeune Aug. 28, 1951, at St. Joseph Church, Tiffin. Pat was a lab technician for the Heinz Co. for many years, retiring in 1988.

Mrs. LeJeune attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Ladies of the Moose and a social member of the VFW. Pat enjoyed attending REAC, Friendly Singles and high school class reunion luncheons, cross stitch, crochet, reading novels and going out with family to eat her favorite kind of food, Chinese!

She is survived by two daughters, Catherine (David) Frey of Petal, Miss., and Debbra (Theodore) Lowe of Fremont; two sons, Robert (Michelle) LeJeune of Philadelphia, N.Y., and Kenneth (Kina) LeJeune of Fremont; a son-in-law, Vernon Salyers of Fremont; a sister, Margaret Distel of Tiffin; a brother, Dale Jumper of Tiffin; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Mary Salyers; three sisters, Martha Wonder, Helen Mompher and Evelyn Dunn; and four brothers, Robert, Paul, Russell and Raymond Walter Jumper.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Her Mass of Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, with the Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital or St. Joseph Church.
