U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, met with local officials Thursday morning to discuss economic development in Seneca County and the surrounding areas.

Jordan spoke with Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz, Fostoria Mayor Eric Keckler, Tiffin City Administrator Deb Reamer and County commissioners Jeff Wagner, Holly Stacy and Fred Zoeller, and David Koehl, chairman of the Seneca County Republican Central Committee.

Wagner said Jordan updated the officials on new business in Washington, D.C. including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Jordan also asked how he could help Seneca County improve economic development.

Wagner said Jordan talked about ways to improve roads and discussed the possibility of having a job fair in Seneca County.
