Joe A. Krotzer, 69, of Bettsville, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at his residence.
Joe was born July 22, 1943, in Wood County, to Charles N. and Avis (Sworden) Krotzer. He married Ronda (Heins) April 24, 1965, in Fremont, and she survives.
Survivors also include two children, Kyle and Kortney; six grandchildren, Jarod, Jacob, Karma, Mienya, Jonathan and Kamaren; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Joshlyn; and a brother, Gale "Sam" (Madge) Krotzer.
Joe retired from Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria, and was most recently employed by Nature Tails Golf Course. He was a 1961 graduate of Risingsun High School. Joe was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Jeff Gordon fan, enjoyed sprint car races and golfing.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kelly Moes; and two brothers, Charles and Russell Krotzer.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Old Fort United Methodist Church with Pastor John Alice officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 301 Union St., Bettsville. There will be no burial at this time.
