Vernon G. Ball, 84, of Fostoria, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
He was born Jan. 25, 1928, in Barboursville, W.Va., to Benjamin F. and Forrest I. (Luster) Ball. He married Norma Utz July 21, 1971, in Fostoria, and she preceded him in death Aug. 24, 2009.
He is survived by three nieces and two nephews.
Visitation is 1-1:30 p.m., with his funeral immediately following at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin presiding. Burial will follow at Scott Trinity Cemetery, near Risingsun.
