Tiffin reports

A person from the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive, reported Saturday night a woman who had been assaulted by her father.

A person reported early Sunday morning two men were fighting in a parking lot in the 500 block of South Sandusky Street.

A person reported early Sunday morning a rear door at Headquarters Salon, 262 N. Washington St., had been pried open.

Benjamin W. Kay, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with assault early Sunday morning.

Bridget L. Cabassa, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption early Sunday morning.

A person reported Sunday afternoon someone attempted to break into an apartment in the 100 block of Minerva Street.

A person reported Sunday afternoon a property dispute in the first block of Elmer Street turned into an assault. A child had a hammer and was threatening people.

County reports

A 2000-block South TR 1195 woman reported early Sunday morning the theft of $100.

A 100-block East State Street man reported Sunday afternoon his vehicle was missing, and he knew who took it.

Tiffin Police Department requested assistance for a theft call in the 1000 block of West Seneca Avenue Sunday evening.

Fostoria reports

A 200-block East Center Street woman reported early Sunday morning her vehicle was stolen.

A fight was reported in the 1000 block of Perrysburg Road Saturday night.

A man at West Center and North Wood streets reported Sunday morning he was walking down the street and was pushed by a man he did not know.

A man reported Sunday afternoon the theft of an iPad from an office of Attorney Fred Echelbarger, 125 S. Main St.

A 300-block South Union Street man reported Sunday afternoon his garage was broken into.

Tiffin accidents

A non-injury accident was reported at Oakwood Drive and West Market Street Saturday evening.

Linda Cooper-Smith, 60, of Tiffin, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on East Market Street Saturday morning.

County accidents

A vehicle was in a ditch on CR 18 early Sunday morning.

A vehicle was in a ditch on TR 65 Sunday morning.

A vehicle was in a ditch on CR 13 Sunday afternoon.

A vehicle was in a ditch on West TR 112 Sunday afternoon.

An accident was reported on West CR 6 Sunday evening.

Fostoria accidents

A vehicle was in a ditch at Findlay and West Lytle streets Saturday evening.

A parked vehicle was struck by the city's street department at Westhaven and Augusta drives Saturday night.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to a good intent call at 1550 W. Market St. Saturday evening.

Firefighters were called to arcing and shorted electrical equipment on Douglas Street Saturday night.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to a fire alarm at 720 Chesapeake Court Saturday evening. They found the resident had left a hot pad on the stove burner and accidentally turned on the burner, causing it to catch fire. The resident extinguished it prior to firefighters' arrival.

County fire

Kansas firefighters were called to assist Fostoria Fire Division with a rollover on CR 25 Sunday morning.

Green Springs firefighters were called to a chimney fire on East TR 164 Sunday afternoon.
