Perry’s milestone sparks Stockaders rout of Arcadia

ARCADIA - Old Fort stormed off in the second quarter and Dalton Perry topped 1,000 career points Saturday in an 83-40 romp over Arcadia.

The Stockaders led just 14-13 at the first stop, but roared away from the Redskins 25-6 in the second to take control.

Perry sank a foul shot that period to reach the milestone scoring mark en route to a game-high 23-point night. He now has 1,016 points.

Perry also grabbed 10 rebounds and five steals for the Stockaders (9-0).

Hunter Perry added 17 points, nine boards and seven assists and Matt Hill tossed in 14 points. Cole Davidson netted nine points and Brad Bannister dished six assists.

Casey Mock's 15 points led Arcadia (0-8), and Shae Watkins scored 12.

Rams ride Reile

UPPER SANDUSKY - Joe Reile popped in 31 points and Upper Sandusky shot just north of 50 percent from the field Saturday in a 64-48 win over Fostoria.

Reile's point total was aided by five 3-pointers as the senior guard went 11 for 18 from the field for the Rams (3-4), who finished 20 for 39 overall.

Trent Howard added 16 points and four assists, Cody Collins scored 12 points and Carson Mittermaier hauled in five rebounds.

Dominique Fuller netted 21 points for the Redmen (1-6), Drew Stennet snared six rebounds and David Cook had five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Lommerse sparks Chieftains win

GIBSONBURG - Ryan Lommerse connected from long range and Hopewell-Loudon shot well from the foul line Saturday as the Chieftains turned back Gibsonburg, 65-61.

Lommerse nailed five 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 20 points for the Chieftains (6-3), and added three assists.

Alec Gregg added 15 points and four assists, Tyler Imes netted nine points and grabbed six rebounds and Garret Sendelbach also hauled in six boards.

Hopewell-Loudon finished 20 for 24 from the line, compared to an 11-for-20 effort there by the Golden Bears (2-6).

Andrew Cantrell scored 14 points for Gibsonburg, Jordan Kreglow had 11 points and four assists and Isaih Arriaga tossed in 10 points. Tyler Ernsthausen chipped in eight points and five rebounds, while Andy Burmeister had seven points and nine boards.

Emmanuel Christian's 1-2 punch KO's Raiders

SPRINGFIELD - Ryan Crech helped Emmanuel Christian take control in the first half and Trent Groenhout made sure the Lions kept it in the fourth quarter in a 58-42 win over Lakota in the Emmanuel Christian Warrior Classic.

Crech scored 10 of his game-high 16 points in the first half to help the Lions enter halftime up 24-18.

Thirteen of Groenhout's 15 points came in the fourth quarter, aiding the Lions in a 21-13 scoring run.

Jason Aegnier added 12 points for Emmanuel Christian (6-3).

Colin Timmons and Kody Brewer both netted 12 points for the Raiders (2-7).
