Arlene M. Tobolt, of Bloomville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Tiffin, to Henry J. and Erma (Elchert) Walliser. She married William H. Tobolt Oct. 9, 1954, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin, and he preceded her in death Sept. 18, 2008.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Mark) Covert of Tiffin; three sons, Stephen Tobolt of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., and Chris (Mary) Tobolt and Randy (Robyn) Tobolt, both of Bloomville; a daughter-in-law, Brenda K. Tobolt of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice (Don) Collect of Lemoyce.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Tobolt; a brother, Louis P. Walliser; and her in-laws, William and Martha Tobolt.
Arlene was a 1947 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica and the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed going camping with her husband and working in her flower beds and her at mother-in-law's greenhouse in Bloomville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica, with the Rev. Paul A. Fahrbach officiating. Entombment will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens in Tiffin.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19, Bloomville. A scriptural vigil service will begin at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
