Elaine and Wally Thom are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Dec. 21, 1962, at First Lutheran Church by the Rev. Willard Hackenburg.
Wally, the son of the late Carl and Florence Thom, is retired from American Standard.

Elaine is a retired teacher from Tiffin City Schools. She is the daughter of the late Ernest and Eleaner Baugher.
They are the parents of three children, Jeff (Amy) Thom of Bloomville, Julie (James) Yoder of Tiffin and Jill (Greg) DeVore of Tiffin. Seven grandchildren complete their family.
