Cardinal Stritch brings its A-game to Lakota

KANSAS - Cardinal Stritch got an A-plus effort Monday at Lakota. Actually, more of a double-A effort.

Austin Adams poured in 36 points to lead the Cardinals to a 73-56 victory over the Raiders. Half of Adams' points came in the first quarter as Cardinal Stritch raced out to a 26-13 lead.

Lakota worked the lead down to eight heading into the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals outscored the Raiders 18-9 in the final frame to lock up the win.

Lakota was paced by Kody Brewer who tallied 20 points. Josh Kirkpatrick chipped in 12.
