NEW WASHINGTON - Cole Davidson poured in 28 points and two teammates combined for another 23 Saturday as unbeaten Old Fort dropped Buckeye Central 56-42.
Davidson connected on six 3-pointers for the Stockaders (5-0) and grabbed six rebounds. Dalton Perry netted 12 points and A.J. Phillimore scored 11.
Austin Wurm's 10 points topped the Bucks (2-4). Alan Niese added five rebounds.
Chieftains triple on boards against Polar Bears
BASCOM - Hopewell-Loudon only shot 3 of 13 from the foul line, but more than tripled Hardin Northern on rebounds (52-17) in a 88-53 victory.
Alec Gregg sank five 3-pointers and tallied 17 points while teammate Tyler Imes tossed in 17 also. Ryan Lommerse (11 points) and Adam Black (10) also contributed.
Imes led the way with nine boards while Gregg dished out five assists.
Jacob Gossard registered 18 points for the Polar Bears.
Wildcats race away
VANLUE - Zach Garber had an even night of shooting for Vanlue while St. Wendelin struggled Saturday as the Wildcats rolled, 70-33.
Garber tossed in 27 points for Vanlue, going 9 of 11 from the field and 9 of 10 at the line. He also grabbed eight rebounds.
Nick Hagerty added 11 points for the Wildcats (6-0).
Gabe Walters' nine points sparked the Mohawks (2-3). Nick Schumaker scored eight points and Zach Miller hauled in seven boards.
Blue Jackets surge behind Reinhart
NEW RIEGEL - New Riegel trailed most of the way, and went into the fourth quarter down to visiting Van Buren, 43-41.
But the Blue Jackets surged in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Black Knights 24-11. They won 65-54.
New Riegel got a dominant offensive performance from Brandyn Reinhart, who made 12 baskets and finished with a game-high 30 points to go along with eight boards.
The only other Blue Jacket to score in double figures was Nick Wank, who scored 10 points as New Riegel upped its record to 5-1.
Jake Dryfuse had eight points and eight rebounds for New Riegel.
Van Buren was led by Ross Adolph, who scored 13 points.
Boes keys Blue Devil win
CAREY - Zach Boes poured in 23 points while seven other Blue Devils pitched in good efforts in a 57-35 win against Upper Sandusky.
The Rams shot better than 50 percent overall from the field but committed twice as many turnovers as the Blue Devils (25-11).
Boes also grabbed a team-leading six boards.
Cody Collins (14 points) and Joe Reile (11) led Upper Sandusky.
