Fostoria police examine break-ins

FOSTORIA - Fostoria police are currently investigating the report of break-ins at three businesses in the city.

According to police reports, a caller from Marc Wadsworth DDS, 801 Sandusky St., reported Wednesday morning the office had been broken into and a cash drawer was taken, with $60 reportedly taken. According to the report, entrance was made through a basement window.

At Bliss Charter, 1415 Sandusky St., an employee reported Wednesday morning the business had been broken into and $140 was missing. There, police dusted for fingerprints.

A break-in also was reported Wednesday morning at Schreiner Custom Stairs & Millwork, 1415 Sandusky St., according to reports. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department said the break-ins are under investigation and no arrests had been made as of Wednesday evening.
