Muriel Irene Hinckley, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2012, at St. Francis Home.
April 26, 1946, in Findlay, she was born to Raymond and Eveleen (Joseph) Harshman.
Survivors include a daughter, Darla Hinckley of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Dustin Hinckley of Tiffin; her stepmother, Joyce Harshman of Tiffin; two sisters, Shirley Guss and Cheryl (Red) Bland, both of Tiffin; and two grandchildren, Andrew Kuczynski and Benjamin Perez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Robert Harshman and Harmon Guss Jr.
Muriel was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a 1964 graduate of Tiffin Calvert and a graduate of Mary Manse College in Toledo. She worked at several area factories and retired in 2010 from M-Tek in Upper Sandusky. She was a member of Mensa, and enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden, collecting comic books and antiques and working on puzzles.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Friends may visit with the family 2-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A wake service will begin at 6 p.m.
