FOSTORIA - The spirit of Christmas is alive and well in Fostoria as reflected by donations received for a program to provide presents for children and their family members.
More than $5,000 was received by "Christmas With A Cop" facilitator Officer Travis Ricker, exceeding the goal by $3,000. Donations still are being accepted. Police representatives are to accompany children Dec. 15 to purchase presents for the children's families.
