December 5, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

OLD FORT - Brothers Dalton and Hunter Perry combined for 45 points and 21 rebounds Tuesday as Old Fort thumped Woodmore 74-54.

Dalton Perry led the charge with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Hunter Perry turned in 21 points and 10 boards for the Stockaders (2-0). Hunter Perry also tallied eight steals and seven assists.

The key came in the second quarter, when Old Fort used a 25-6 scoring advantage to forge a 37-23 lead.

"This was a really nice win for us," Old Fort coach Eric Hoover said. "Woodmore is a big, physical team and we were able to take them out of their game with great defensive pressure.

"We really turned it up in the second quarter and Dalton and Hunter took over the game at the offensive end," he said.

Other Stockaders also helped out, with Cole Davidson dishing seven assists, Marc Salas handing out six assists, A.J. Phillimore scoring 10 points, and Salas adding eight points.
