Firefighters from Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to a fire at Willow Creek Apartments, 575 E. SR 18, Sunday night.
Fred Bishop, Clinton's fire chief, said the fire started in one of the bedrooms in apartment G1 and was contained to one apartment. The rest of the building had smoke damage, he said.
Bishop said he was unaware of any injuries.
The cause was undetermined. Rescue crews remained at the scene early this morning.
