Jean and Tom Hayward are celebrating their 50th anniversary. They were married Nov. 24, 1962, at First English Lutheran Church, Tiffin.
Tom retired after 45 years at Ohio State University's and Barnes & Noble's campus bookstores.
The former Jean Wilson's career included Ohio State University, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Battelle. She is owner/guide of Capital City Tours.

They hare parents of three children, Lori Peare and Jimmy and Jennifer Painter. They also have five granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Their children and grandchildren honored them with a reception Nov. 10, 2012, at Riverside United Methodist Church, Upper Arlington.
